How does the NDIS work?

The NDIS provides funding for reasonable and necessary supports to those under the age of 65 who suffer from a permanent impairment that has a substantial effect on their intellectual, cognitive, neurological, sensory, physical, psychological, and social functioning.

Therapy Programs.

As the largest private teaching rehabilitation hospital in Australia, we are able to offer an extensive range of therapies for individuals with a disability. Our case managers will work closely with you to determine the best management plan for your clinical and lifestyle needs.

Our allied health services include:

  • Dietetics
  • Exercise Physiology
  • Occupational therapy – inclining but not limited to home modification
  • Physiotherapy
  • Registered Nurses – wound management
  • Speech Therapy
  • Social Work

Do I need a referral?

Formal referrals are not required. Anyone including the client, family and carers, medical and health professionals may book an assessment at Eastern Suburbs Private Hospital. Supporting medical information about your presenting condition is helpful as part of the assessment.
